CLIMBING NEW HEIGHTS: 10th year anniversary event of the NZNCC announced

CLIMBING NEW HEIGHTS: 10th year anniversary event of the NZNCC announced Nepal and New Zealand climbed Everest together. It's now time to explore CLIMBING NEW HEIGHTS. NZNCC is turning 10 years old on 18 November 2026. We are celebrating the achievement of this key milestone. On the day, we will acknowledge the persons and organisations who have walked with us shoulder to shoulder in this decade of journey. More importantly, we will discuss what is next for the NZNCC. We believe that with a decade of legacy, the NZNCC has built a strong foundation to scale up outreach and engagement between Kiwi and Nepali businesses, and to facilitate trade opportunities between Nepal and New Zealand. We look forward to starting a new conversation to take the existing friendly and cordial bilateral relations between New Zealand and Nepal to new heights. Nepal's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon Shisir Khanal on 3rd of October 2026 re-iterated the Government of Nepal's commitment towards Economic Diplomacy when he delivered the keynote address at the Fourth AIDIA Nepal Distinguished Lecture Series on “Economic Diplomacy for a Prosperous Nepal” in Kathmandu (See comment section). NZNCC's vision of the future of bilateral relations between New Zealand and Nepal is guided by the principles of Economic Diplomacy The event is organised in association with the Embassy of Nepal, Canberra and the Auckland Business Chamber.
