Engagement with the New Zealand Minister of Foreign Affairs

On 26 May 2025, prior to the official visit of the Deputy Prime Minister Hon Winston Peters to Nepal, we wrote a letter to the Minister urging to forward trade and business cooperation between Nepal and New Zealand. In response to our letter, we received a positive acknowledgement from the Minister. This visit was a historical official visit as it was the first visit to Nepal from New Zealand at that higher governmental level. On 27th May 2025, our President, Mr Raj Maharjan appeared on RNZ live with Jesse Mulligan to highlight the topic of bilateral relations and trade and business between Nepal and New Zealand.
