Engagement with MP for New Lynn, Auckland, Mr Paulo Garcia

We believe that collaboration is the key that opens doors. As part of our commitment to work with wider Kiwi society, today our President Mr Raj Maharjan and Vice President Mr Subash Shrestha held a hui with MP for New Lynn Paulo Garcia MP at his electoral office. Key topic was small businesses and their pain points in these tough economic times. Solutions discussed involved the following: - upping the management skills of small business owners, - building capacity on regulatory matters, and - collaborating with the wider business as well as non-business communities New Lynn is an area where a number of Nepali businesses are located. Within 50m radius of MP Garcia's electoral office, there are at least 3 hospitality businesses run by Nepali owners. There is presence of a healthy number of Nepali voters who reside within the New Lynn electorate. We sincerely thank MP Garcia for welcoming us and taking time off his busy schedule to meet with us.
