Business Connect (Bay of Plenty)

We connected business owners and other stakeholders in the Bay of Plenty at our networking event held in Tauranga CBD. In business, ‘together we are stronger’ and ‘people follow people’ were the key messages from the event. Speaking at the event, Councillor Marten Rozeboom - Tauriko Ward Councillor from Tauranga City Council outlined the council’s business-focussed initiatives and his engagement with business communities. President of NZNCC, Mr Raj Maharjan, encouraged the attendees to make the most of the event by making connections with a focus on growing their business. President of Nepalese Association in Bay of Plenty New Zealand Inc., Mr Dev Mukunda Adhikari, highlighted the contribution of the Nepali business community towards the economy of the BoP and the wider region, including the national economy.
